Guanidine Thiocyanate (chemical name: Guanidine Thiocyanate, CAS No.: 593-84-0) is a chemical reagent with a clear molecular structure and prominent functional properties. Its molecular formula is C₂H₆N₄S, and its molecular weight is 118.16 g/mol. It appears as an odorless white crystalline powder, which can be easily distinguished from other white powdery reagents in daily observation. The core attribute of this product lies in its "dual functionality"—it not only has excellent hygroscopic ability to actively absorb free moisture in the environment but also can simultaneously exert the effects of protein denaturation and nucleic acid protection in biochemical experimental scenarios. - Transportation Identification: UN Dangerous Goods Number 1759 (universal for European land transportation, international maritime transportation, and international air transportation), classified as Class 8 Corrosive Solids, Packing Group III (slightly hazardous). The transportation name is marked as "CORROSIVE SOLID, N.O.S. (Guanidinium Thiocyanate)", and GHS hazard symbols (GHS05 for Corrosion, GHS07 for Harmful) must be affixed to the outer packaging.  
- Mixed Transportation Taboos: It is strictly prohibited to transport it together with strong acids, strong oxidants, or cyanides to avoid the release of highly toxic gases or chemical reactions due to reagent contact.
